SOME OF OLIVERS REVIEWS
Miss I-Doll (The Other Palace)"Written by Tobia Rossi and Oliver Lidert with a score by Simone Manfredini, a bubblegum exterior hides an unforgiving OTT satire that pulls no punches. This daring approach sees delicious political jabs and pop culture references coexist in quite the imperfectly accomplished production led by an indefatigable actor."
★★★★ Broadway World (Cindy Marcolina)
"The script from Rossi and Lidert is satirical genius. It plays into the stereotypes we're all too familiar with and have strong emotions for, whether it be love or hate; the despicable villain, the almost too-good-to-be-true contestant. It uses these stereotypes and turns them on their heads entirely, creating an entirely new narrative."
★★★★★ Stage To Page
Urinetown (Alexander Gibson Theatre)"It was a royal flush for the Royal Conservatoire's performance of Tony award-winning Urinetown in Glasgow last week. Drawing on Theatre of the Absurd, clowning and Bertolt Brecht, this Tim Burton-esque musical uses quirky song and dance to explore humanity's deepest, darkest truths."
★★★★★ Broadway World (Robbie McFadzean)
"Urinetown is another great success for the RCS team; they have transformed it way beyond its original limitations into something even more musical, entertaining and refreshing. A super production of an offbeat musical. Reimagined as an actor-musician piece, the music and the entire show comes alive at the hands of Director Oliver Lidert and the exceptionally talented Conservatoire cast."

Children of Eden (New Athenaeum Theatre)
"Directed by Oliver Lidert, the students at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland - have staged an impressive production of Children of Eden."
★★★★ Broadway World (Natalie O'Donoghue)
" Lidert's touches of modernisation, his experience and affection for the project shine through in every scene."
